Summer Singing Workshop
On July 6th we held a very successful Summer Singing Workshop at Acorn Village. This was led by Susie Rose, and accompanied by Stephen Smith on the piano. It was attended by sixty people who learned to sing Howard Goodall’s TV theme tunes to ‘The Vicar of Dibley’ and ‘Black Adder’ and ‘On my Own’ from Les Misérables. There was a short performance of these songs to friends, relatives, and residents of Acorn Village at the end of the day. It was an enjoyable and uplifting day and the singing was beautiful.
